Phony War (sep 3, 1939 – may 10, 1940)
Description:
The phony war was a period in time where the allies sat around doing nothing. They were afraid that if they attacked, the German's would fight back. In other words, they were afraid to fight the enemy.
This gave a weakened Germany a chance to recharge, and strengthen their army.
