During the baby boomer period, many new computing devices started to come out. In 1947 the first transistor was invented by Bell Telephone company. It allowed electronic signals to switch. Then in 1953, IBM came out with the first PC. This PC was called Model 5150 and was adopted by many businesses and firms.
