PCHA (dec 11, 1911 – sep 1, 1924)
Description:
The Pacific coast hockey association was formed in 1912 and managed to last until 1924 when they merged with the Western Canada Hockey league. The PCHA was the first league to be considered major ice hockey and was crucial in the development of ice hockey as a professional sport. This league was also one of the first professional leagues to expand into the US. With teams in Portland and Seattle.
