Considered one of the bloodiest battles during WWII. Turning point in Allies favor. Hitler was trying to split up the Allies in their drive toward Germany. But failed. Germany launched last offensive of the war, countermist, Known as the Ardennes counteroffensive and the battle of the bulge.
