Jean-Baptise Revillon, was known as a good employer or paid well. he made a speech expressing bread price concerns, they got misinterpreted
the crowd of local workers staged marches against Revillon, which destroyed his house, factory and gunpowder factory.
this demonstrated how vicious and aggressive the french population can be.
