Asturian Miner's Strike 1934 (oct 5, 1934 – oct 19, 1934)
Description:
The October Revolution of 1934 in the Asturias region in northern Spain. This saw many member of the left like Anarchists, Communists, and Republicans band together in the name of revolution. Unlike the Russian revolution, this revolution was unsuccessful and failed within days. This revolution was done by the Miners who attacked and seized Local and Civil Guards barracks. This revolution was eventually put down by Franco and his troops.
