Mussolini’s becomes Italian leader (oct 1, 1922 – jan 1, 1943)
Description:
Mussolini came into power in 1922 by taking advantage of the times political unrest that was occurring in Italy he promised to make thing better for the Italian citizens and so he was put into the role of PR minister where from there Mussolini when on to clos down any diplomatic institutions that could oppose him and set him self up into a dictator role were from there he allied with Hitler and the Nazis that put him into a even more powerful position. Mussolini tried to reestablish Italy as a European power but failed in multiple different conflicts during the second world war and that eventually led Italy’s surrender to the allied forces. His eventual downfall occurred in 1943 were he was voted out of power by his own party’s council were upon leaving the meeting he was arrested on the spot and was thrown into jail.
