Description:
The Nanjing Massacre was an episode of mass murder and mass rape committed by Imperial Japanese troops against the residents of the then Chinese capital Nanjing.Causes:
-The Japanese captured the city and decided to kill everyone because it was the capital
-The Japanese invaded the city because they wanted more natural resources and living space.
Effects:
-200,000 to 300,000 dead
-20,000 to 80,000 women were sexually assaulted
