Weimar Republic (feb 6, 1919 – aug 11, 1919)

Description:

The Weimar republic was the title of the government in power in Germany from the end of WW1 until the Nazis took over. The government was so as named as it was created by the National Assembly of Germany in the town of Weimar. It was created after a man called Kaiser Wilhelm II had lost all the support of his people and his military, forcing him to abdicate. The National Assembly elected the leader of the Social Democratic Party, Fredrich Ebert, to be the president of the Weimer Republic.
