Description:

The rape of Nanking or the Nanjing massacre was an episode of mass murder and mass rape committed by Imperial Japanese troops against the residents of Nanjing, then the Capital of China, during the second Sino-Japanese war. The population of Nanjing was getting really high because thousands of refugees had to flee other chinese cities because they were all under Japanese control, that's when Japanese armies advanced toward Nanking. There are no official numbers for the death toll in the Nanking Massacre, though estimates range from 200,000 to 300,000 people.
