Description:
The first modern Olympics were held in Athens, Greece with competitors from 14 countries. The first recorded Olympics were in 776 B.C. where at the time only had one event, a foot race, the Olympics have since evolved to include more than 33 sports and 339 events. The Olympics act as a way for many different countries to show off their best athletes at an internation level.
