Description:

Description: The Washington Naval treaty was a treaty called by the United states and signed in 1922 with the nations that won world war 1. This treaty was to limit the naval arms race. It was also to work out security in the Pacific area.
Cause 1: The Washington naval treaty was organized to prevent any mishaps that might happen in the future of that time. They sorted security in areas so they could be organized if something did happen.
Cause 2: they also had to relieve growing tensions in Asia so they could keep things peaceful. They tried their best to prevent another war.
Effect 1: The Washington Naval Treaty was the end of the Anglo-Japanese alliance. The American delicate that were involved in the treaty said that they wouldn’t agree to the treaty unless UK ended its alliance with the Japanese. So that finished their alliance.
