Hitler becomes Furher (nov 1, 1934 – nov 1, 1945)
Description:
This is when Hitler becomes the leader of Germany, Furher meaning leader in German. One of the first things that happened was that Hitler made the whole German Army sign an oath to him. He then started the third reich which was the start of Nazi Germany, which he said would last for a thousand years before falling apart eleven years later. One of the main reasons that Hitler wanted to take over as Germany's leader and eventually take over the world was because he was very upset with Germany surrendering in the war. He did not like the idea of Germany seeming weak and wanted to make sure that Germany was succesful in a War and to show the other countries Germanys power.
