Description: The league of nations was a worldwide governmental organization and their intentions were to bring and maintain peace over the world from WW1. It included negotiations to prevent further wars and settle disputes between countries.
Cause 1: The main cause of The League of Nations to be organized was the war. They wanted to keep the current peace throughout the world. They did this with collective security and tried to settle disputes between the countries.
Cause 2: Another cause is simply the disputes that were between countries, they knew that people were still angry from what happened in WW1. They to calm countries and to help everyone but it didn’t work, and they failed to do this.
Effect 1: the league of nations had basically failed due to different countries showing exposed weaknesses which encouraged Hitler to invade and led to the war.
Effect 2: A major effect and cause of why the league of nations failed is that the United States rejected being in the league which majorly weakened it and led to more disruptions and to the war.
