MacArthur Drives Back the North Koreans (sep 15, 1950 – jan 1, 0)

Description:

UN forces were ready to counterattack in September of 1950. MacArthur had a plan to drive the invaders from South Korea. He suspected that North Korea would have limited supplies so he decided to strike a surprise attack behind enemy lines because MacArthur knew he knew they wouldn’t suspect it. The North Koreans were pushed back to the 38th parallel. This left the UN forces to decide whether they should just end the war and consider the war a victory.
