Constitutional Convention (may 25, 1787 – sep 17, 1787)
Description:
The Constitutional Convention was a meeting where many state delegates came to talk about the United States Constitution. It was held in Philadelphia, and there were 55 delegates there. Only 39 signed the actual constitution though. The convention was in 1787 and George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Alexander Hamilton, and John Jay were a few of the people that went. The Constitutional Convention will be the start of a new country forming.
