Rape of Nanking (dec 13, 1937 – may 30, 1938)

Description:

The Rape of Nanking was an attack by the Japanese soldiers during the Sino- Japanese War. It was also known as the Nanking Massacre. Nanking was the capital of China at the time. Roughly 150 000 male war prisoners were murdered, a further 50 000 male civilians were murdered and on top of all the between 20 000 and 80 000 women and girls were sexually assaulted and many were either severely injured or killed in the process.
