Description:
The Great Depression was hard for most of the population but they still had to find ways to keep themselves positive. Listening to the radio was completely free so most people would listen to that and dance. There were also bands that played in ballrooms which encouraged people to dance. Even though the people didn’t have much money, they would still pay to see a movie when they had more money than usual. The great depression happened between 1929 and 1939.Added to timeline:
