Kohlberg's Theory of Moral Reasoning: Conventional (sep 29, 2009 – sep 29, 2024)
Description:
This next age is known as the conventional age and includes the interpersonal concordance and the law and order stages. In the interpersonal concordance stage is when being good or happy or mad or whatever anybody wants is what's right and it's the majority that they listen to. They adopt the attitude of morality and that being right and wrong is whatever the majority thinks. The second stage is the law and order stage. In this stage being/doing good is doing your job for your community or your surrounding. This is when we obey the laws without questioning them and conforming to what society thinks. Most adults don't pass this stage. This picture shows a man buckling his seat belt and following the rules/laws of the road.
