Niels Bohr (jan 1, 1906 – jan 1, 1916)
Description:
He, together with Rutherford, made the first valid model (Rutherford/Bohr model) of the atom as we know it today. His model showed that atoms had a dense core called the “nucleus”, and that the electrons were in a not very dense place called the “electron cloud”, which surrounded the nucleus. He worked with Rutherford on the model, and the final proposal.
