Description:

字雲卿，相州內黃（今河南省安陽市內黃縣）人

工於五言律詩，與宋之問同為當時著名的宮廷詩人，文學史上並稱「沈宋」。他們所作多為歌舞昇平的應制詩，風格綺靡，不脫梁，陳宮體詩風。可是沈、宋倆人總結了六朝以來新體詩創作的經驗，對律詩的成熟與定型，貢獻頗大，是唐代五言律詩的奠基人。
