Abbasid Dynasty (dec 31, 994 – mar 13, 1110)
Description:
Political - The Abbasid dynasty was very different from the Umayyad. It was not a conquering dynasty and did not favor the Arabs like the Umayyad did. They focused more on administrating land they already owned and created a government. The Abbasid dynasty declined because the governors started to take advantage of the disorder in the ruling house, popular uprisings, and peasant rebellions weakened the empire.
