John B. Watson (jan 1, 1878 – jan 1, 1958)

Description:

Watson promoted a change in psychology through his address Psychology as the Behaviorist Views it, which was given at Columbia University 1913.

Through his behaviorist approach, Watson conducted research on animal behavior, child rearing, and advertising.

He conducted the controversial little Albert experiment and the Kerplunk experiment.

Watson wrote the book Psychological Care of Infant and Child in 1928, with help from his assistant and wife Rosalie Rayner.
