Walter B. Cannon (oct 19, 1871 – oct 1, 1945)
Description:
Walter was the first to use x rays in psychological studies. He also did investigations on hemorrhagic and traumatic shock during WW1 that were later summarized. Much of his work is published, such as, the emergency functions of the sympathetic nervous system and on homeostasis, and his knowledge of the chemical mediation of nerve impulses.Added to timeline:
