Apartheid (jan 1, 1948 – jan 1, 1991)
Description:
The apartheid in South Africa enforced laws that segregated the population. Laws enforced that white and non-white South Africans had separate living areas and public facilities. (Much like the Jim Crow laws in the US). The apartheid legislation would go on to birth more acts and laws further unequally dividing the nation, splitting families, and that will constantly benefit the white citizen.Added to timeline:
