bloodhound LSR is a British land vehicle designed to travel at supersonic speeds and set a new world land speed record. The arrow-shaped car, under development since 2008, is powered by a jet engine and a rocket engine and is theoretically capable of reaching speeds of 1,050 mph. (1,690 km/h).
