Description:

ca. Jan - Apr 1952
Digo was only governor in Togo for a very short time, but soon there were problems between him and the PTP leadership. The fight broke out over John Atayi and Pedro Olympio, who were thrown out of the PTP (accurate?) whilst Digo wanted to reinstate them. Especially Ajavon put everything on the line with Jaquinot, the minister for the French overseas territories to complain about Digo.
