Iran-Contra Affair (aug 20, 1984 – mar 4, 1987)
Description:
The Iran-Contra affair made headlines when it was discovered that the Reagan administration willfully sold weapons to Iranians (a known enemy of the U.S.) in order to provide the pro-democratic rebels in Nicaragua with monetary support, this can only be described as a controversial event that once again exposed America's tendency to cross moral and political boundaries to fulfill whatever their agenda is at the time.
