Prohibition (jan 1, 1919 – jan 1, 1930)
Description:
A period of time where the purchase and sale of alcohol was prohibited. No importation or transportation of alcohol was allowed. Illegal makers of liquor would take advantage of the demand of alcohol to make any profits they could.
