Description:
- Drake commands a pinnace called the Swan, probably part of a pirate fleet organised by William Wynter and his brother George- In Feb, Drake and his crew joined French pirates in a raid on Spanish outposts in the Isthmus of Panama
- With a captured cimarron (an escaped black slave) as guide, Drake and his allies took a Spanish vessel loaded with goods
- Over next few months they raid coastal and inland trading posts, taking ships and goods
- Returns to Plymouth
