Sherman's March to the Sea (nov 15, 1864 – dec 21, 1864)

Description:

General William T. Sherman captured Atlanta, an important Confederate city. Afterwards, Sherman decided to take about 62,000 soldiers on a march from Atlanta to the Atlantic coast in Savannah, destroying many items and property on the way.
