Description:
The Renaissance and Scientific Revolution was the transition period that marked the end of the Dark ages and the beginning of the a more modern age. This time period became known as The Enlightenment as it focused on art, architecture, philosophy, literature, music, science and technology. Scholars focused on the humanist method and stressed realism. People questioned traditional authority and instead turned to a more rational approach. Many liberal views came into play as most of Europe adopted this new ideology. This also includes seeking new governments. This time period was very radical for its time and many governments topple and people killed. In conclusion, the Enlightenment period thrust Europe out of the slow stagnate time of the Middle ages into an era of new thinking and modernization.
