French and Indian War (jan 1, 1754 – feb 10, 1763)
Description:
The French and Indian War started with France and Britain. It started when the French moved into what is now Pittsburgh, and built Fort Duquesne. Both sides had Native American allies. The French allied with the Shawnee, Lenape, Ojibwa, Ottawa, and the Algonquin tribes. The British allied with the Iroquois, Catawba, and the Cherokee. The French and Indian war was mostly fought in the northeastern border between the British Colonies and the French colonies of New France.
