Hungarian Revolution (oct 23, 1956 – nov 10, 1956)
Description:
Massive protests took place against the Soviet-controlled government of Hungary. Protestors fought against Soviet troops to form a new government which declared Hungary as a neutral nation and embraced some liberal ideologies. Soon after, the Soviet Union invaded Hungary and eliminated the revolution.
