The Six-Day War (jun 5, 1967 – jun 10, 1967)
Description:
This war was fought between Israel, Egypt, the United Arab Republic, Syria and Jordan. Around 1948, Egypt and Israel were at war, and they went to war again around 1956 over the Straits of Tiran. Then, in 1967, Israel got mad at Egypt again for not closing the strait, and they launched attacks against Egypt. The war was fought for around six days, and it ended when Israel won the war by taking the Gaza Strip, Sinai Peninsula, West Bank, and the Golan Heights.
