Description:
After skinny women started to gain weight, in order to obtain an hourglass figure, being skinny started to be popular again. Women are once again encouraged to try to exercise and diet in the hope to look like a "twig", having a small bust and slim hips; a flat-stomached look was also a must be. Due to women doing anything to achieve the new ideal body, Weight Watchers started to air in 1963 to help people lose their "fats".Added to timeline:
