The White revolution (nov 1, 1961 – nov 1, 1963)

Description:

Marked by the Shah's consolidation of power along with aggressive westernization. The most notable example is the elimination of private land ownership instead, redistributing land to 2.5 million families. Soon, however the government was unable to manage it and as a result there was a high failure rate for new farms and many farmers decided to to major cities in search of better jobs.
