-Hitler created a total state, strengthened the control of the government, controlled the civil services, outlawed all other political parties, banned labor unions, and focuses on rearmament
-creation of the Hitler Youth for both boys and girls
-Nazification of all aspects of life
-Anti-Semitic legislation, Kristallnacht
-He militarizes the Rhineland, annexes Austria, takes the Sudetenland through a treaty in the Munich Conference, and claims Czechoslovakia
