Trans-Saharan trade route (feb 19, 800 – sep 20, 1700)
Description:
In west Africa, it was fairly populated with little people living in the Saharan desert. The merchants coming from southwest Asian brought camels to Africa which lead to more people trading using the Saharan desert. It became a well known trade route for the Europeans and the Asians getting gold from africa.
