Description:
The roman rule left with a great impact on the old english language, not only the roman empire had an impact on the english language but it was also influenced form Anglo-Saxons and Celts. Old english is the earliest form of english as we know it. It came to replace Celtic languages and Latin, brought by the romans to the British isles.
