Description:
Charlemagne was the Emperor that attempted to reunite the Roman empire. He was the leader of the Franks and wanted to bring back the Roman age. He created a power that would eventually threaten Constantinople. He was a powerful leader but did not set up a good plan for after his death. Key concept 3.2
