Description:
Mansa Musa was the leader of the Mali empire during the 14th century. He was most famous for making a pilgrimage to Mecca in 1324 which introduced him to many other world leaders. This also helped induce more islamic trade in his kingdom while being more accepting of Islamic people. Key concept 3.2
