Description:
Many people in Texas stated to hear about the Alamo. “Running” for their lives texans went east. This was known as the runaway scrape. Many people died because of diseases from traveling.Sam Houston was determined to defeat Santa Anna and have the texans return home. They didn't have an advantage instead they had a disadvantage. He was short on guns, ammunition, supplies and money. Homes were burned by Mexican troops. Texans tried to escape them.Added to timeline:
