The Runaway Scrape (mar 11, 1836 – apr 21, 1836)
Description:
After word of the Alamo from roughly March 11- April 21, 1836, Sam Houston and his troops along with a lot of Texan families started to leave Texas. Sam Houston ordered for Fannin to retreat from Goliad and hadn’t gotten word from him since. Sam Houston was retreating so that he could get time to gather his troops. This was known as the runaway scrape.Added to timeline:
