Reign of Suleyman I (jan 4, 1520 – jan 22, 1566)

Description:

Seen as possibly greatest Ottoman leader due to decrees and military prowess. Under his rule, the Ottomans expand into Europe and the middle east, taking Hungary, Baghdad, and Yemen. Uses the Ottoman navy to control the Mediterranean Sea, and ultimately spreads as far as Algeria. Tries to siege Vienna, but due to awful weather ultimately fails though there was a great advantage on the Ottoman's side.
