Defeats the Safavids at Chaldiran and the Mamluk Dynasty altogether. Uses cannons while both others shun gunpowder altogether. After taking over Mamluks, the Ottomans take the title of caliph, as the shadow caliphate has now "transferred" to them.Added to timeline:
