Agricultural Revolution (jan 1, 1700 – jan 1, 1850)

Description:

This was a period of time that saw new innovations of technology that greatly increased the population of mankind at the time. Crop rotations were introduced and they rotated growing, wheat, barley, turnips, clover, and ryegrass. This resulted in the soil not being completely depleted, which would cause famine if it did. Another innovation of the Agricultural Revolution was the selective breeding of livestock, particularly cattle. If two particular animals had traits better for consumers, they would be breeded so that they produce a product that is more satisfactory to the public, greatly influencing the economy.
