Navigation Acts (jan 1, 1651 – jan 1, 1786)

Description:

Although there was several Navigation Acts that were passed till the Medieval Ages. The British passed this act to go into economic warfare with the Dutch. The Dutch were very successful in trading and were hit very hard by this, even losing their colony "New Amsterdam", later renamed "New York". Later, France became their next enemy because they had several colonies, triple the population of Britain, and they were allied with Spain.
