Description:
Roosevelt was a statesman, conservationist, author, explorer, and naturalist. Roosevelt, an avid big game hunter, became increasingly aware of conservation needs while on his ranch in the Dakotas. During his presidency, he led conservation efforts which oversaw 290 million acres set aside for preservation.
Roosevelt was also a founding member of the Boone and Crockett Club.
