1701-1714- War of Spanish Succession (jan 1, 1701 – jan 1, 1714)
Description:
The war of Spanish succession happened when Prince Joseph Ferdinand died early, and Archduke Charles refused to take the throne for Spain. This stopped Spain and France from uniting in to one empire. The war bankrupted the French Empire.
